I heard that at the very beginning of this band, this was a band with drum programming and formed by Dave himself. Could you tell me something about the early days of this band, and the brief big events during these years?

Dave started LIVIDITY with a drum machine due to not being able to find any members that shared his vision of sickness. He found a drummer in Tommy Davis shortly after the release of the 1st demo "Ritual of Mortal Impalment" and the rest is history.

In Chinese fans' opinion, there is a certain, extreme and close relationship between your band and the fucking word "pussy". Do you favor this?

Yes, We love it!! Doesn't LIVIDITY mean PUSSY in chinese??(ha,ha)

Who writes these fucking cool songs and where is your inspiration of creation from?

We all write the music and I tend to write most of the lyrics with some help from dave and the rest of the band. Our Insperation comes from Horror,Gore and PORN movies.....We are also inspired by the early recordings of Cannibal Corpse,Incantaion,Impetigo and many others....

In the live album "Show Us Your Tits", we can hear that the lead vocal shout out that let all of the girls under the stage pull of their pants, and show their pussies to all. Did it really happen on that day? And if so, it is a fucking cool live!

Oh yea!!! That chick was a real slut!! she showed her muff to us 3 or 4 times while we were on stage..then she blew me backstage and I blew my load all over her tits....funny night for sure!!!

How many female fans does your band have and own? And how many among them your band members?

The ladies seem to love what we do!! we have alot of women fans and get alot of emails from women who dig what we do.....most ladies are freaks!! they just like to have it dragged out of them!!

Have made love with?

I've had my run ins whith the ladies while on the road....thanks to any and all chicks who sucked me off or took my load while we were on the road!!! You rule!!

Tell me something about your live performance, is it really like a hot hell in the whorehouse? What do you usually do in your spare time? Is it like what you have described in your lyrics?

The typical Lividity show is full of energy and perversion!! We tend to never take ourselves too seriously...we just jump on stage and wanna blow everyone away....send them home ready to screw,screw,SCREW!!!!

Could you describe your ideal showgirl for us?

any show girl with a hole is fine with me!!! Big tits help too!!

Your album "fetish for the sick" is one of my favorite albums in the genre of brutal death metal. And I heard that by now it has been sold out to 5000 copies. It is a big success to an underground band, is this album a very beginning of the success of your band?

I'm glad you like the cd!!! I am still In shock on how well it has done and we wanna thank all our fans for the support of that cd!!! It seemed like that was when people really started to notice what we did and wanted to know more about the band....plus we were still young and trying to develope a style...the cd is close to 7000 copies now I beleive....I wanna send a shout out to ABLATED RECORDS and Brian Baxter for all the support!! you rule,Anal ripper!!!

You have gained a big fame in the underground stage, and this kind of popularity can help the sale of your product quite a lot? Are you still underground and what is your opinion on the popularity, fame and underground belief?

LIVIDITY will always remain 110% Underground and never sell out the scene for record sales or popularity....That isn't our style!! I beleive good things come to those who stick by their guns and stay true to themselves. Even though we have been getting more and more press and popularity...It will never change us...were a porn-gore death metal band and thats how it will always be!!!

Your band has dealt with many labels such as Ablated Rec., United Guttural, Listenable, and Morbid Rec. and your band nearly change a label after releasing an album. What is the reason that your band does not choose a long-term and steady-going label and distributor? Could you tell me some detailed circumstance about the cooperation between you and your label?

We always follow what we think is the best move for Lividity....some deals have been better then others but it has never been a goal to change labels with every album. We are still very close to all the labels that have helped us along the way and we are very happy with our new label MORBID RECORDS....Our next cd after the one we just recorded will be on Morbid as well....and as long as they treat us like they do..I can see us on the label for a long time to come!! 1000 bloody hails to Olaf and the rest of the MORBID CREW!! They are doing a great job for Lividity!!

How do you get along with Morbid Rec.? What is your schedule in Morbid Rec.?

Morbid records is the best label we have ever been on and they support Lividity 100%!!! We are very happy with all aspects of what they've done for us so far!! Our 1st cd of our deal is titled.."...'Til Only The Sick Remain" and will be out on june 24th 2002.

Last year I heard the unfortunate news that Nick passed away. Hail Nick from the whole family of Painkiller Magazine! We all are very eager to acquaint ourselves with all the facts about Nick. Could you tell us something about him?

Nick Null was a part of lividity for 3 years and was a great guy and brother who loved to jam music and had a great future ahead of him....we miss him and will keep the torch burning for him....I think he is looking down on us now and very happy with what we are doing......we miss you,bro!!! R.I.P.

I think nick is a very special person and is a very important member of this band. Does the death of Nick influence other members a lot?

I think it made us try harder.....we don't take the small stuff for granted like hanging out with each other or jamming each pratice like it could be our last...we have also learned to just enjoy life and the band as much as possible.

We know that Nick once formed another two cool bands Waco Jesus and The Pissde Midgets, what the condition of these two bands is by now? What is the relationship between these two bands and your band?

We have and still are close friend with Waco Jesus....they have had a new drummer for awhile and are working on a new cd PLUS we might do a split cd together in honor of Nick......The Midgets are no more but we are still close to those guys as well....just don't see them as much....I'm glad all were able to move forward after Nick's death.

What on earth does Lividity look like? Who could get the opportunity sharing live show with your band?

The line up now is still me-Matt on lead vocals/guitars, Dave on back ups/guitars, our orginal bass player from the REJOICE IN MORBIDITY demo Aaron Harper and our new drummer James Whitehurst....Its the best line up for us to date and we look forward to infecting the world very soon with some sick death metal!!

I think the music structure of your music is some kinda concise and well arranged. Compared with the complex music structure of some other brutal metal bands such as Disgorge (US), you are as simple as fuck. And what is your opinion on the personal skill and technology of music instrument playing?

We just write music...we don't try to play a million miles per our or make the most complex riffs we can....some songs are simple..some are a little more complex...all just depends on what we are feeling and thinking at the time....

Before ending this interview, tell me something secret of your favorite sex posture? And what do you want to say to Chinese male fans and female fans of your band?

My favorite position is her on top...so I can relax and put the bitch to work.....But thanks a ton for the interview and our new cd "...Til Only The Sick Remain" will be out on Morbid records on june 24th 2002!! we also have a new website at http://lividity.imess.net
